Father Alberto Reyes denounces Cuban dictatorship as ‘an infernal nightmare,’ calls on Cuban people to fight for their freedom

Troublesome priest Alberto Reyes

From our Bureau of Troublesome Priests

This week’s message from Father Alberto Reyes is one of the most radical he has ever posted. Among other things, he admitted that sometimes he wants to pray for things to worsen, so that Cubans will take it upon themselves to topple the dictatorship out of sheer frustration. He also said the dictatorship’s sole aim is to stay in power and that it’s only achievement is imprisoning those who question it and destroying their soul, filling them with hate and resentment forever.

Wow. If you are a praying person, please pray for Father Alberto. Castro, Inc. would love to crush him in the cruelest way possible. You can view this latest video HERE.

Cuban priest Alberto Reyes recently shared a reflection in which he expressed his desire to ask God for things to worsen in Cuba, hoping that such a development would trigger a societal reaction and lead to progress.

The parish priest warned that only a radical political change can save Cubans from the current crisis, as the government will not act in the people’s best interest.

“Our leaders lie to us, trying to prolong their stay in power as much as possible, at the cost of the suffering and slow death of a people they do not care about, whom they seem to hate and despise. But that does not irritate us enough to say enough,” the priest said.

In his message, Reyes calls for a fight for freedom to prevent Cuba from becoming a nation with corpses piled up everywhere.

The priest, a fervent critic of the Cuban government, sent a message to political prisoners and their families in July.

He advised them to pray to God and speak of their pain, anger, and fear. Above all, he warned them to ask for the light of their souls so that their time in prison does not corrupt them.

The parish priest of the Archdiocese of Camagüey believes that the regime’s victory is not in imprisoning those who question it but in destroying their soul, filling them with hate and resentment forever.
