Venezuela’s army vows ‘absolute loyalty’ to Maduro after opposition appeal

Ever since Spain’s former colonies in the Americas won their independence in the early nineteenth century, most of them have been ruled by military juntas at one time or another. In some cases — such as that of Castrogonia — those military juntas have clung to power for decades.

So, it’s no surprise that Venenozuela’s current military junta, which is directly controlled by Castrogonia, is vowing ‘absolute loyalty’ to puppet dictator Nicolas Maduro, despite the fact that there is ample proof that he and his Cuban cronies are guilty of massive election fraud, and despite calls from Maduro’s opposition for the military and police to side with the Venezuelan people.

Venezuelans protest rigged election results

The sad truth is that if Venenozuela’s police and military were to abandon Maduro, his dictatorship would topple instantly. Even the hard-left news rag El Niuyortain is verifying that the election was won by Maduro’s opposition. Unfortunately, this is Latrine America, and no such toppling is likely to happen, despite the slight and fleeting embarrassment that might be felt by the editors of El Niuyortain.

Venezuela’s military on Tuesday criticized an appeal by the opposition for the support of the armed forces amid the disputed reelection of President Nicolas Maduro, saying it was “desperate and seditious.”

Opposition leaders Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia and Maria Corina Machado on Monday appealed to the “conscience” of the military and police officers — traditionally staunch allies of Maduro — to “take the side of the people”.

They were met with a swift criminal probe from prosecutors investigating them for announcing an election winner other than Maduro, instigating disobedience, insurrection, and conspiracy.

In a statement declaring “absolute loyalty” to Maduro, Defense Minister and army chief Vladimir Padrino said: “We strongly reject the desperate and seditious approaches” that “seek to undermine our unity and institutionality, but will never succeed.”

The opposition insists Gonzalez Urrutia was the rightful victor of the July 28 presidential election, which has plunged the oil-rich nation into political crisis.

Multiple countries, including the United States and Argentina, have recognized Gonzalez Urrutia as the winner, while others, such as the European Union, have stopped short of doing so while calling for full publication of voting records.

The National Electoral Council said Monday it had presented all these records to the Supreme Court for certification, as requested by Maduro — but not publicly.

The contested election sparked protests last week that left at least 24 civilians dead as of Tuesday, according to rights groups, with more than 2,000 arrested.

Maduro on Monday called for a boycott of the WhatsApp messaging platform, alleging that military, police and community leaders who support his re-election had received threats via the app.

“I am going to delete my WhatsApp from my phone forever, little by little I will move my contacts to Telegram, to WeChat,” said Maduro, who has also taken aim at TikTok and Instagram for promoting “division” and “hatred” among Venezuelans.

Machado — who was barred from running in the election and backed Gonzalez Urrutia — on Tuesday denounced a “campaign of terror” in the country.

“They want to intimidate us so that we do not communicate, because isolated we would be much weaker and that is not going to happen. Fear will not paralyze us and we will not leave the streets,” Machado said in an audio message released on social media.

European Union spokesman Peter Stano on Tuesday told Venezuela’s government that a campaign of intimidation against the opposition “needs to stop”.

“We are calling on the authorities to stop this, this campaign of intimidation of the opposition and judicial intimidation,” he said.

  1. If one is in the army one gets privileges such as more food. If anyone in the army were to get disgusted and try to defend the people, he would be dead in an instant. Every member of the military knows these two things. So in addition to propaganda, they have been brainwashed and it’s easy to control the army once one decides to go that way in a Communist dictatorship. And it is too late to expect them to defect and join the people even though one may know it is correct to do that.

There is no idealism except 100% loyalty to the party.

How to set up a Communist tyranny:
    1. Erase anyone’s ability to own money. Make money worthless.
    2. Erase all private ownership so there is no ability to sell something to buy one’s way out.
    3. Remove all guns from private citizens or register the few that exist. There is no way to defend oneself.
    4. Make everyone have to stand in long lines all day to get water, food and anything else one needs so that there is no ability to have time or energy for anything else like fighting the regime.

The trouble is in America millions are suddenly enthusiastic about Kamala and Walz – two far left people who want to control all Americans and the only way for them is to set up a Communist tyranny here. And yet liberals do not see this even though everything Kamala and Walz represent is lies , deception, lack of personal control over one’s life, and all the goodies that come with Communist tyrannies.

In America too many do not fear Communism..
    We are in serious trouble..

I listened to some of Shapiro’s speech. It was scary as hell. And he is being groomed to be the next one if this pair succeeds or fails. I am terrified that the formerly unrespected, empty headed puppet, Kamala, who hates Israel and America, has somehow suddenly been identified as the savior of our country.

Whether Americans vote this pair in or they steal it, if they are the next in line, it is the end of the free world.

    Trump 2024.
