This is not a case of passive neglect. And it has nothing to do with the medication shortages that plague Castrogonia. This is a deliberate execution. Castro, Inc. is actually withholding medicines and medical supplies brought to a prisoner by his mother. Roberto Pérez Fonseca, who has stomach ulcers, is serving a ten year sentence and has seven more years to go before he is freed. Ulcers can be lethal. Castro, Inc. knows this, and is very glad to let nature take its course…

The Cuban government is allegedly attempting to end the life of political prisoner Roberto Pérez Fonseca, who is serving a sentence in Aguacate prison, Quivicán, according to a report by his brother, human rights activist Albert Fonse, on social media.
Pérez Fonseca was arrested for participating in the July 11, 2021 protests in San José de las Lajas and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, of which he still has seven years left to serve. His family and friends fear that the continuous confinements in punishment cells are worsening his already fragile health.
“I’ve just been informed that my brother, political prisoner Roberto Pérez Fonseca, has gone two days without eating due to stomach pain caused by ulcers, and he has not received any medical attention or medication,” his brother reported.
Last week, Pérez Fonseca was allegedly abused by several military personnel who stole medical supplies necessary to administer Omeprazole intravenously during his ulcer-related crises. Among the stolen items were supplies that his mother had managed to obtain amidst the severe shortage of medications affecting the island.
“His health is critical, with increasingly frequent stomach and asthma attacks, a result of multiple punishments in isolation cells, the most recent around July 11. This is part of a deliberate strategy by Cuban State Security,” his brother stated.
“They’ve isolated his closest companions to eliminate witnesses in case something happens to him. They are torturing and slowly killing my brother. It’s all the work of Department 21 and their henchmen,” he denounced from Canada.
Right. Because dissidents are non-persons, so whether or not they get medical treatment is irrelevant. In other words, we’re not talking about a black prisoner in apartheid South Africa. Totally different concept.
