From our Bureau of Lack of Immunity in Leftist Latrine American Military Juntas with some assistance from our Bureau of Socialist Epidemic Control
A Castro, Inc. official has just revealed that a top repressor has just died from “complications stemming from Oropouche.” This bit of news contradicts Castro, Inc.’s constant claims that Oropouche hasn’t caused any fatalities. So, if colonels in the Ministry of Fear are dying of Oropouche, and Castro, Inc. is admitting it, the epidemic is obviously very serious. Unfortunately, this guy will be immediately replaced by some other Castronoid goon.

Colonel Lázaro Delgado Chaple, the second-in-command of the Directorate of Identification, Immigration, and Foreign Affairs (DIIE) at Cuba’s Ministry of the Interior (MININT), passed away recently due to complications from the Oropouche virus, according to Cuban officials close to him.
Orestes Hernández Hernández, a staff member at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINREX), confirmed Delgado’s death on Friday, stating that he had succumbed to “complications stemming from Oropouche.”
Miguel Ángel Moreno Carpio, Cuba’s consul in Mexico City, expressed his condolences, noting that the colonel was “always ready to assist with the Consulate’s requests.” He added that whenever they needed prompt and clear solutions, they would “always have Lázaro’s number at hand.”
So far, no further details about Delgado’s death have been released.
Hernández Hernández mentioned that the deceased colonel was part of the team that handled security at the airport during President Barack Obama’s visit to Cuba. He later led the remodeling work of the Museum of Denunciation in Playa (5th and 14th).
According to the Foundation for Human Rights in Cuba (FHRC), Delgado was set to be included in their Cuban Repressors database due to his role in the forced expatriation of activists, artists, independent journalists, and citizens critical of the regime.
Delgado Chaple reportedly participated in the wave of forced exile of prominent Cuban activists, a situation highlighted by the independent news outlet Diario de Cuba two years ago.
His death due to the Oropouche virus contradicts the Cuban government’s claims of no fatalities from the disease. Dr. Miguel Ángel Ruano, president of the Free Cuban Medical Guild, had previously warned about this.
The expert explained that relapses and deaths in Oropouche virus patients are often caused by poor treatments and the lack of medicines necessary for their care. He pointed out that the Cuban government frequently labels deaths as being due to “fever of unknown cause,” avoiding linking them directly to Oropouche.
Earlier this month, Brigadier General Juan Israel Cervantes Tablada also passed away. At the time of his death, he was the director general of the Union of Military Industries (UIM). Cervantes Tablada, a trusted figure of the regime, had graduated as an engineer specializing in tanks and transport from the now-defunct Soviet Union (USSR).
In addition, Major General Romárico Vidal Sotomayor García, who was sanctioned by the U.S. for his role in the July 11, 2021, social unrest repression, had also passed away recently.
