From our Bureau of Socialist Tolerance, Compassion and Social Justice with some assistance from our Bureau of Black Lives That Don’t Matter to Black Lives Matter
She was violently arrested for daring to step out of her house last Sunday and then she disappeared for three days. No one knew if she was dead or alive. Yesterday she was freed. Other Ladies in White were also arrested throughout the island. Black lives matter, yes, but not to leftists in the free world and especially NOT to the Marxist organization in the U.S. that calls itself Black Lives Matter or to the Black Congressional Caucus.

The leader of the Ladies in White, Berta Soler, was released on Wednesday morning after being missing for almost three days, her husband, activist Ángel Moya, reported.
According to Moya, she was initially taken to the Aguilera police station and later transferred to the Cotorro station.
On Tuesday night, State Security agents moved her back to the Aguilera station, where she was released on Wednesday.
During her detention, Soler was held in dimly lit cells, denied access to water, and deprived of her Bible.
Soler was arrested on Sunday by State Security agents as she was leaving the organization’s headquarters in Lawton, Havana.
The previous week, while being held at the Cotorro police station, a State Security officer known as “Felo” had threatened to imprison her if she went out the following Sunday.
She was detained for almost 72 hours without her whereabouts being known.
Other Ladies in White also faced repression this Sunday.
In the city of Santa Clara, Ladies in White members Yaima Pérez and Marbelis González were arrested and held in a police patrol vehicle from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m.
In Colón, Matanzas, Mayra García and Yudaxis Pérez were detained to prevent them from attending the local church.
The opposition movement celebrated its 21st anniversary on March 30. Since its founding in 2003, it has brought together the wives and other relatives of Cuban political prisoners. In 2005, the group was awarded the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought by the European Parliament.
The real issue is not being black per se but being useful to a certain agenda by virtue of being black. Those who are black (even very black, like Berta Soler) but not useful do NOT matter to the usual suspects.
