Three of Castrogonia’s top oligarchs donned their military uniforms to tour hurricane-damaged areas of eastern Cuba last week, and a photographer who happened to be standing at a perfect angle captured an image that is irritating the hell out of many Cubans. There they are, these three hogs who command the island’s military junta, displaying their enormous bellies for the world to see.
A few weeks ago another photographer caught a similar image with his camera at an anti-Semitic pro-Hamas rally headed by Trucutú Díaz-Canalla and Manuel “El Barrigón” Marrero. Judge for yourself. How irritated do these photos make you feel, even if you are lucky enough not to be living in Castrogonia?
Loosely translated from CubitaNow
They say that the photographer from the Council of State who took this photo is in prison, after he MASTERFULLY showed the bellies of the leaders of the Castro Dictatorial Leadership. Observe how the uniform jacket squeezes the enormous belly of Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, something that the first secretary of the Party in Guantanamo, Yoel Pérez García, could not do.
The president seems to be, advised by “the machi”, dressed more loosely so that his belly is hidden more, and as he himself says to the inhabitants of the east of the country devastated by the Oscar storm: “The game is tight, but we have to be brave,” as he says to those same Cubans who are going to be charged 50% of what the materials cost to rebuild their homes, those same people who were not warned that the cyclone was coming in the middle of the terrible national blackout.
Or as he said in Bayamo: “Let’s work together and spread the positive experiences!”
“Those who want to humiliate us are not going to solve our problems; so, what we have to do is work harder, together and spreading the positive experiences” words of the dictator to the neighbors of the Latinoamericano (Jabaquito) neighborhood of Bayamo.
There he learned of the “progress” experienced when in the 112th district, in the last TWO YEARS, the grocery store was fixed, a cafeteria was built, a stand selling agricultural products, a park; there is participation of the population and the delegate has recognition from the community…what progress!
The black guy must be a local apparatchik, and even if he were a national figure like old Esteban Lazo, he’d only be a token one like Lazo. Castro, Inc. has never had a black functionary with real power.
Why do they insist in wearing those military costumes? It’s not just fake; it makes them look ridiculous. I guess it’s to remind people that it’s a military dictatorship, obviously with guns, which they don’t have.
