From our Russification of Kuba Bureau with some assistance from our Bureau of Extreme Déjà Vu
As happened countless times during the Soviet occupation of Kuba, children will be sent for brainwashing in Russia again. Programs like this were the chief cause for the panic that led Cuban parents to send over 14,000 of their children to the U.S. in the early 1960’s via the program that later came to be known as the Pedro Pan airlift.
Tres Fotutos — who was one of those kids — remembers his parents saying: “we’re sending you to the U.S. so you won’t end up in Russia.” Wow. Talk about déjà vu moments! The Russification of Kuba continues, all speed ahead!

Cuban children from various regions will have the chance to spend their summer vacation in St. Petersburg, Russia. This initiative, led by the local government, aims to strengthen cultural ties and offer unique experiences to these young visitors.
The Gorod Plus television channel’s online platform announced that in 2025, the city will host children from both Cuba and Vietnam. This was revealed by the governor, Alexander Beglov, during a municipal government meeting.
He has tasked the education committee and relevant agencies with preparing the necessary programs to organize these vacations. Furthermore, Beglov emphasized that the city continues to welcome children from Mariupol for their breaks.
In November of last year, Beglov made a visit to Cuba and met with the Cuban leader, Miguel Díaz-Canel. During his visit, he participated in a concert celebrating the 505th anniversary of Havana and toured primary and basic secondary schools in the capital.
Those poor children at the periphery–just so many pawns of the monstrous evil that is Castro, Inc.
