We came to the U.S. from Cuba in the fall of 1964. We were introduced to Halloween, Thanksgiving, and the story of a man named Scrooge. It is one of my favorite Christmas stories. My guess is that most of us read it at some point in our youth, or maybe later.
Charles Dickens published “A Christmas Carol” in 1843. I love the story every year.
