Wonder how many Democrats feel like strangers in their own party?

Wonder how many Democrats feel like strangers in their own party?

July 8, 2019 by Silvio Canto Jr.

During the recent Democrat debate, we saw a party pandering in Spanish and talking more about LGTB rights than the concerns of workers in the Midwest.

Even on health care, they have no serious solutions that will ever become law.  In other words, “Medicare for all” is a speech not a solution.

It led Tom Basille to write this:

“If you have a genuine belief in God and feel expressions of that belief or expressions of patriotism are neither offensive, ignorant or jingoistic, today’s Democratic Party disagrees with you. If you came of age in a time when people worked harder at working than complaining, a self-assessment of where you fit in today’s Democratic Party might leave you feeling abandoned. “

Right on Mr. Basile.

In the past, candidates tilted right or left in the primary but did not get off the expressway.  In other words, they understood that they’d eventually have to drive on the center lane. How does this party do that?

Even Kamala Harris’ busing moment, a big score for political junkies, may backfire when she has to talk about it in a general election.  As I recall, busing was not popular back then.Time will tell and people will eventually vote.

Nevertheless, I would not be surprisded if a lot of Democrats are privately hoping for a Trump victory just to clean up their party.
