Of course, Ecuador’s dictator Rafael Correa employs the same tactics as his mentors in Cuba and uses Orwellian newspeak when he describes the banding together of Latin America’s despotic Marxists as an “observatory.” But those of us who have experienced this Castro-mafia brand of criminal extortion firsthand and those who take the time to read history will know what this proposal is all about: A syndicate of criminal regimes banding together to extort billions from lawful international companies.

Ecuador to propose Venezuela to create multinationals watch

Ecuadorian Foreign Minister Ricardo Patiño said sharing and analyzing information was “essential”

Involved in a legal dispute with oil giant Chevron, Ecuador announced on Monday it would propose during a meeting on Wednesday in Caracas with delegates from different countries the incorporation of a multistate observatory of transnational corporations, AFP reported.

The meeting, which will be attended by representatives of South America, Central America, and the Caribbean, is intended as a “follow-up of the debate on how we can put together data and our assessments to defend ourselves from some transnational companies,” Ecuadorian Foreign Minister Ricardo Patiño told news agency Andes.

The issue was first addressed in Ecuador in 2013, where delegates from different countries, including Argentina, Bolivia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and Uruguay, proposed the creation of the observatory.

“This is essential” in order to share and assess information about “what companies such as Chevron or Oxy do; they have harmed our countries by using courts unlawfully and illegally,” the official commented.

  1. Why would younger “Latin” leaders choose to follow ancient, fraudulent failures like the geriatric Castro crew, who’ve clearly driven once-prosperous Cuba into the ground? Isn’t this highly aberrant and irrational behavior? Is it simply about getting and keeping as much power as possible? It must be, because otherwise they’d have to be retarded.
