Cubazuela Aims to Annex Puerto Rico

Uh oh, Boricuas… watch out.  It looks as if Cubazuela wants to swallow up your lovely island and turn it into one of their provinces.

Genuine independence is the last thing that the Cubazuelans have in mind for any CELAC member.

Venezuela’s Maduro to propose Puerto Rico as CELAC member

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro celebrated the anniversary of the Cuban movement in company with Cuban Ambassador Rogelio Polanco

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro is to propose the inclusion of Puerto Rico in the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac) in the next meeting to be held in Havana.

“Free Puerto Rico will be independent,” he exclaimed.

Maduro said that during the Celac meeting, the Fourteenth Cuba-Venezuela Joint Commission would be reaffirmed to materialize new cooperation projects in the areas of economy, energy and health.

The president gave the news during a celebration in Caracas for the 55th anniversary of the Cuban revolution. He noted that Cuba-Venezuela friendship has been strengthened since the advent of Chávezism.

“Cuba and Venezuela are united by love to Martí, Bolívar, Fidel, Chávez,” he underscored.

The Head of State was joined, among others, by Cuban Ambassador to Venezuela Rogelio Polanco.

ABC Spain quotes the ever eloquent Maduro as saying:

“Puerto Rico es la agenda pendiente de independencia y dignidad ‘nuestramericana’ que dejó el libertador Simón Bolívar.Cumpliremos su sueño.”  (Puerto Rico is the unfinished agenda of “ouramerican” independence and dignity bequeathed to us by the liberator Simon Bolivar.  We shall fulfill his dream.)
