Essentially, RT (Russia Today) TV is KGB Colonel Vladimir Putin’s personal propaganda organ. Besides Castro’s Granma and Cubadebate, Cuban exiles have no bigger media enemies in the world than Putin’s RT tv. (OK,OK!–it’s a close call between them and the New York Times and CNN!)
Rand Paul’s disdain for anti-Communist Cuban exiles has been pointed out here at Babalu. Both Rand and Ron Paul have long been favorite guests of KGB Colonel Putin’s RT TV.
Naturally, as a KGB (now known as FSB–Federal Security Service) propaganda organ RT tv was always very, very solicituous of their affiliate employees, the Castro spies known as the Cuban Five.
And naturally Putin’s RT tv has always been very, very hostile to the anti-Communist Cubans who effectively fought Soviet/Cuban intelligence operatives. (i.e. busted their ass when they tried to take over Venezuela in the 60’s, for instance.)
Recently KGB Colonel Putin’s propaganda organ has even started promoting and peddling Rand Paul’s campaign paraphenalia, from koozies to flip flops.

(Btw: A few months ago your humble servant here was invited by RT tv (probably after some cursory Googling) to appear on an embargo debate with some commies. “Let’s ROLLLL!” I replied. Within an hour they called back (probably after more careful “research”) that–Gosh Darnit!, Blimey!, Caramba!–the studio in New Orleans wasn’t available! I suggested the New Orleans studio and know it was available.)
Is it me, or does Rand Paul look like a kewpie doll?
