Well,I actually know a bunch of Cubans who would give their eye teeth to be able to escape to Saudi Arabia, Pakistan or Zimbawe, the other countries like China and Vietnam have too much in common with Cuba being communist and all, so no dice there.

As Castro came into power Cuba was the 3rd richest country in the America?s, one of the richest in the world. Most definitely NOT a 3rd world country!
Castro lived off of this wealth in the first 10 years of his “revolution” , then he became Russia’s whore and lived off of that. After the fall of his generous pimp, he then went on all fours and let tourism & foreign investment sodomise the Cuban people until he found China & Venezuela to bail him out.
He offers ?rice cookers? but neglects to put a coat of paint and clean up one of his ?MOST? successful care centers.

I have a friend who visited Cuba a couple of years ago and he saw first hand the decrepit state of affairs in their hospitals. He said that Cuba is about 30 years behind on technology, health care, etc. I remember quite distinctly his comment, “You wouldn’t want to get sick down here.”
