Recent photos of a hospital in Cuba Michael Moore and the Castro dictatorship don’t want you to see

The following photographs of the Gonzalez Coro Hospital in the Vedado neighborhood of Havana were taken recently. They show without question the true condition of the much vaunted health care system in Cuba under the control of the Castro dictatorship.

These are the real hospital conditions typical Cubans are subjected to and for obvious reasons, neither the Cuban regime nor extreme leftist filmmaker Michael Moore wants America to see them.

Finally, Patricia is a grandmother. Her daughter spent a few days in the Gonzalez Coro Hospital, formerly the Sacred Heart Clinic, in Vedado, Havana, because her baby was born underweight, a very common occurrence these days.

She took some photos and sent them to me so the condition of the facilities and the hygiene offered by this hospital could be documented.

Another of the surprises the new mother encountered was the quarrels that were taking place between patients there due to the theft of cigarettes. She herself does not smoke, but she had to breathe in the constant smoke from the cigarettes being smoked by expecting mothers and the health personnel that were attending to them.

  1. And this is in Havana, and Vedado is a “nice” part of Havana. Imagine what it’s like in smaller cities and towns.
