Isn’t the NY Times’ Ernesto Londono’s obsession with succoring Castro getting a little creepy?

Yet another NY Times editorial by Ernesto Londono (on right) pleading for a U.S. financial bail-out of the Castro regime appeared just yesterday. That makes FIVE in three weeks!…so just wondering….?

  1. It’s truly alarming! I’ve never seen the slavishly pro-castro New York Times, so slavishly pro-castro!
It’s running a streak for the record books. Something is rotten in Denmark. The regime must be afraid of something to be agitating so much. Yes, we can expect these campaigns. We have at least 2 every year, but this latest one is particularly long and determined.

By the way, in the past, they have published my responses on their online comments section, I wrote a few comments in the last few days and they have refused to publish them. Yes, they are getting really desperate lately!

  2. Remember this is the editorial board’s blog. Any one of them can hack out a column on that page, it’s not necessarily endorsed by the rest of the board. Londoño just joined the board last month . He’s barely 30 years old. …and probably not that bright.

  3. Even if (repeat, IF) this clearly wet-behind-the-ears NON-CUBAN “Latino” person is writing in good faith (which is not especially likely, let alone certain), he obviously doesn’t have a fucking clue and is at best a useful idiot–useful to both Castro, Inc. and the NYT. The NYT is definitely NOT acting in good faith and DOES have a clue, and then some, but it is what it is and will keep acting like it as long as it can. Putting this guy forward as ANY kind of Cuba “expert,” or even letting him pontificate as if he were one, is not only risible but contemptible, and so insulting to actual Cubans that it must be meant that way. I mean, the guy looks like some South Beach bimbo wannabe, for Pete’s sake. Again, this case in general is a classic example of overweening arrogance and profound perversity, also known as HUBRIS. Absolutely disgusting, to put it mildly.
