Bolivia’s ousted socialist president Evo Morales leaves exile in Mexico for socialist Cuba

When wannabe dictator Evo Morales was kicked out of office by the Bolivian people after massive election fraud, everyone expected the socialist autocrat to take refuge with the Castros in Cuba. Instead, Morales went to Mexico where fellow socialist Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador welcomed him with open arms.

But less than four weeks after fleeing justice in Bolivia and taking refuge in Mexico, Morales has already left for Cuba where many believe the socialist Castro dictatorship will help him plot his return to Bolivia to retake power indefinitely, as he had always planned.

Evo Morales heads to Cuba amid talk of an eventual comeback

Bolivia’s recently toppled president, Evo Morales, has left Mexico for Cuba as part of what some observers suspect is the first step in a bid to stage a dramatic political comeback.

On Friday night, less than a month after being forced into exile in Mexico, Morales flew out of the country on a plane bound for Havana.

Mexico’s foreign relations ministry confirmed that Morales had left for Cuba on Friday, on what it called a temporary visit.

The Mexican newspaper El Universal said official sources had confirmed Morales’ departure for the communist-run Caribbean island.

Last month a commentator from the same newspaper, Salvador García Soto, had predicted Bolivia’s first indigenous president would relocate to another Latin American country “where he would be able to organise his resistance plan and strategy to attempt to return to Bolivia to recover power in the near future”.

  1. Right. Because the Cuban people should pay to support this cretin, just like they paid and keep paying to support “Che,” his stupid wife and their bloated spawn. But of course, it doesn’t matter, because it’s all the revolution’s money, isn’t it?
