Cuban mothers offer to sell their kidneys in exchange for food, housing, money for emigration

What’s next? Cannibalism? How far down can Cuba sink into Hell? The offers being made by these women seem genuine, as does the harassment to which they are being subjected. Apparently, no one has succeeded in selling their organs, but chances are that someone will eventually do so. There are plenty of Cubans with access to diaspora dollars and euros who wouldn’t pass up such an offer. Castro, Inc.’s response has been to harass and threaten these women. Welcome to Latrine America’s favorite utopia.

Keila Proenza is being harassed by State Security. She is a single mother who proposed on social networks to sell a kidney to feed her three children, ages 10, 8 and 7, in Manzanillo, Granma province.

In statements to Martí Noticias, Proenza explained what happened last Saturday, after her offer to feed her little ones went viral.

“On Saturday, a neighbor came up and told me, with a scared face, that I should be careful because a man had just left on a motorcycle who was taking photos of the house from outside, that I should be very careful, because everyone “The world recognizes State Security,” said Proenza.

The woman said that she was also visited by workers from the school where her children study, who showed up at her home, in the Horacio Rodríguez neighborhood of Manzanillo.

Keila Proenza recognizes that her proposal is still valid, although it is a risk due to the lack of medical supplies in the country’s hospitals.

Proenza commented that she took the idea from another Cuban, who identifies herself as Marelis, who on social media said she was also willing to sell a kidney to buy a house for her family.

The digital media ADN Cuba recently published a video where Marelis expressed from Havana:

“Many people think that it was a state of desperation, but I tell you that if someone really appeared, and you could donate to them in exchange for money, or a home, I would do it. Yes, I would do it well for my children and I know that many women would also be willing to do it,” she assured.

Also in November, Yessica Peña offered one of her organs in exchange for help to emigrate abroad with her baby: “Please, I swear that whoever helps us get out of this dictatorship, I will pay him by working, I will offer him an organ of mine, I will pay him I pay decently whatever
