Eight Cubans arrive in the Florida Keys on a fishing boat
The U.S. Coast Guard on Monday says it detained eight Cuban rafters who had arrived in the Florida Keys aboard a fishing boat.
According to a tweet by Border Patrol official Thomas G. Martin, the Cubans arrived as part of a smuggling operation, although he did not provide any details.
Martin included a photo of the boat beached in the Keys, which is named Moby Dick and its registration number is HA 50902 FPA.
He also did not provide any information on the condition of the rafters.
