For the past few weeks, Castro, Inc.’s oligarchs have been dwelling on the subject of fish. One of them says that there aren’t any fish to catch in Cuban waters, while another advises Cubans that if they would like to eat fish, they’ll have to “invent” ways of creating mini-fish-farms at home.
So, imagine your thrill as a superior being when you read on websites designed expressly for you that Cuban waters are teeming with all kinds of fish, and that you can book private fishing tours through Castro, Inc. (image above)
Aaaaah, it’s so gratifying to be superior. And aaaaah, it is so much fun to be an oligarch in Cuba and to yell at your fellow Cubans like the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld: “No fish for you!”

Before we get into this subject, first let’s read these advertisements of the Castro regime that are found on the internet.

And in Visiting Cuba you can read this other claim: “There are countless perfect places for fishing throughout the island, but the following stand out among the most important: Jardines de la Reina, Cienfuegos, Cayo Largo del Sur, Ciénaga de Zapata , Cayo Romano and the Guanahacabibes peninsula”.
Well, a few days ago Castro’s deputy prime minister Jorge Luis Tapia launched this message in the National Assembly: now the ordinary Cuban who wants to eat fish will have to “invent it.”
Because that was what Tapia blurted out in other words, that from now on the inhabitants of a tropical island with 5,746 kilometers of coastline surrounded by appetizing fish (so the regime affirms), will only be able to eat fish if they raise them themselves at home. , in ponds, bathtubs, or basins. No?
Days before, the Vice Minister of the Food Industry, Mydalis Naranjo, had already said on national TV that “the seas that surround Cuba do not have enough fish to satisfy the consumption of Cubans.”
They were? Who is lying, the online advertising of the dictatorship, or Vice Minister Naranjo and Minister Tapia? I am afraid that these two officials are making fun of the Cubans, by orders from above, for not recognizing the apartheid in force in Cuba.
