Even though Castro, Inc. has sold Cuba to Czar Vlad the Invader, China keeps wooing Castro, Inc. and the military junta in Havana keeps flirting with China.

Castro, Inc.’s “Mr. Fix-it” Ricardo Cabrisas is in Beijing this week, holding meetings with Chinese oligarchs, selling parts of Cuba that the Russians haven’t yet claimed.

Impertinent questions of the day: Is Deputy Minister Cabrisas a whore or a pimp? Can whores and pimps ever vow unconditional love?

Follow-up question: What will happen when Czar Vlad finds out that Castro, Inc. has another mule kicking in his stall?

  1. I almost feel sorry for Cabrisas. He’s too old to still be disgracing himself this way, meaning he should have taken his winnings, gone home and faded away more or less gracefully. The trouble is, I suppose, that these old farts who’ve lived very nicely off the “revolution” see no reason to step away from the trough.
